The title of the Ostinato series is borrowed from music theory, describing a portion of music that repeats the same rhythm or melodic element and acts as the foundation for exploration. The series begins with a standard structure, which forms the basis for individual pieces. Systematically each subsequent artwork has a slight intentional variation on the original pattern. The series has been created in a manner that allows for different combinations and arrangements and/or smaller subsets, which provide different viewing experiences. At this point the canon of the Ostinato series is comprised of 24 individual pieces with further iterations planned.
